Rationalizing the Irrational
We are constantly trying to make sense of the world around us. From the weather to the traffic, the planets to the plants in our gardens, we want to understand what things are like and why. This thirst for knowledge can only be quenched when we can fit the pieces together in a rational way. What strains our thinking the most is when we try to understand human behaviour, and struggle to comprehend the odd decisions people make and the actions they take. (more…)
