We are constantly exposed to new ideas that can expand our thinking and shed new light on the knowledge we possess. However, rather than understand these ideas for what they are, we often associate them with what we already know, and assume that they are identical. This limits our ability to acquire new knowledge and distorts the new information we come across. (more…)
